Teno

Teno is a wonderful 2-year-old Labrador Retriever with a gentle personality, playful spirit, and a heart full of affection. He was rescued in Austin after being found without a safe and stable home. From the moment he arrived at the shelter, Teno showed us what a loving and resilient dog he is. Despite the changes he had experienced, he quickly became comfortable around the people caring for him and began showing his friendly personality.

Teno is an energetic young dog who enjoys spending time outdoors. He loves going for walks, exploring new surroundings, and playing with his favorite toys. Like many Labradors, he has plenty of energy and would be happiest with a family that can give him regular exercise, playtime, and opportunities to explore. He enjoys being around people and often stays close to his caregivers, happily following them around the shelter.

One of Teno's most lovable qualities is his friendly and affectionate nature. He enjoys receiving attention and is always happy when someone spends time with him. He responds well to gentle handling and positive attention, and his cheerful personality quickly makes people feel comfortable around him. Teno has made excellent progress since coming into our care. He has received his vaccinations and is in good overall health. He has also been neutered and microchipped, helping ensure that he can safely begin the next chapter of his life with his forever family. Our team continues to provide him with daily care, enrichment, social interaction, and plenty of opportunities to exercise and relax.

Although Teno is playful and energetic, he also knows how to enjoy quiet moments. After a good walk or an active play session, he is happy to settle down and relax near the people he trusts. He would benefit from a home where his family can provide consistent routines, plenty of affection, and positive reinforcement. A secure outdoor area would be a wonderful bonus, although regular walks and activities can also help him stay happy and healthy.
